Superhydrophilic Self-Cleaning for Clear, Streak-Free Glass
The coating is superhydrophilic, so water rapidly spreads across its surface as a uniform film instead of forming droplets. When rain or dew reaches the panel, the water film penetrates the interface between dust and glass and carries contaminants away under gravity, enabling rain-assisted self-cleaning. This greatly reduces manual cleaning frequency, prevents dust from blocking sunlight and helps keep PV glass highly transparent for improved power output.
Sustained Power-Generation Gain
By removing shadows caused by inorganic and organic surface contamination, the coating helps maximize PV glass light transmission. Coated modules can deliver higher average daily power output than untreated modules, with particularly strong benefits in dusty, low-rainfall regions.
