Re-yingcai® Cleaning and Restoration Nano Coating for Aged PV Modules is a two-in-one restoration and protective treatment developed by Dongguan Yingcai New Material for existing and aging solar plants. Its cleaning components dissolve stubborn alkaline deposits, scale and windblown-sand corrosion marks, while nanosilica fills fine corrosion pits in the glass. After restoration, it forms a highly transparent hydrophobic protective film that provides long-term resistance to dust accumulation, acid rain and salt spray. The coating addresses declining light transmission and power output in aged PV modules, is easy to apply on site, and is suitable for refurbishing aging modules at utility-scale, distributed and coastal solar installations.

    Resists acids, alkalis and neutral salt spray, with a post-restoration protection period of 3–5 years.

Antistatic Protection to Reduce Particle Adhesion at the Source

Surface-charge regulation technology effectively suppresses electrostatic buildup on the glass, greatly reducing the electrostatic attraction of dust, sand and other fine particles. This can extend the cleaning interval by more than 40%.

Superhydrophilic Self-Cleaning with Water-Film Washing

With a surface water contact angle below 5°, the coating immediately forms a continuous, uniform water film upon contact with water. Gravity drives the film to spread and penetrate across the surface, strongly lifting adhered contaminants and improving cleaning efficiency by 60% compared with conventional hydrophobic coatings.

Photocatalytic Decomposition for Continuous Contaminant Removal

  • Under ultraviolet light from sunlight, nano titanium dioxide in the coating generates active hydroxyl radicals that continuously oxidize and decompose difficult contaminants such as bird droppings, oil residues and organic dust.

High Durability for Stable Long-Term Protection

  • After 7,500 mechanical abrasion cycles, light transmittance remains above 96%, while the coating service life can reach 15 years.
