Hydrophilic Water Spreading for Rain-Assisted Cleaning
The coating creates a nanoscale hydrophilic structure that substantially lowers the water contact angle. Rainwater rapidly spreads into a continuous film, then uses capillary action and gravity to lift and carry away inorganic dust and particles. This non-contact cleaning process requires no manual intervention and helps keep the optical surface clean.
Photocatalytic Oxidation of Organic Contaminants
Under the ultraviolet component of daylight, nano titanium dioxide in the coating helps oxidise and decompose bird droppings, grease, pollen and other organic contaminants into carbon dioxide and water vapour. The passive process requires no additional energy and helps limit biofilm and stain accumulation.
Antistatic Surface That Reduces Dust Adhesion

By regulating surface conductivity, the coating helps neutralise static charge on solar panels and weakens the electrostatic attraction of airborne particles. Combined with hydrophilic water spreading, this reduces dust attachment at an early stage and supports more consistent light transmission over time.
