Tencent News highlights Chairman Ye Pusheng’s views on the Maigaiti large-scale renewable energy base and Yingcai New Material’s technologies for PV self-cleaning coatings, intelligent cleaning and low-carbon solar-plant O&M.
On April 5, Tencent News published a feature titled “Ye Pusheng: Yingcai New Material Is Powering Renewable Energy Development in China’s Desert Regions.” The report focused on the investment promotion conference for the Xinjiang (Maigaiti) large-scale renewable energy base and highlighted the views of Ye Pusheng, Chairman of Dongguan Yingcai New Material Technology Co., Ltd., on the prospects for renewable energy development in desert, Gobi and arid regions, as well as the company’s technology portfolio and practical initiatives for new-energy applications.

The report noted that, as China advances its carbon-peaking and carbon-neutrality goals and accelerates the construction of large renewable energy bases, desert and Gobi regions are becoming increasingly important to the country’s energy transition. Addressing key issues such as lifetime PV power output, lower operation and maintenance costs and reduced resource consumption, Ye said that the next stage of renewable energy competition will depend not only on project scale, but also on technical efficiency, material performance and system-level O&M capabilities.
As a business leader with long-term experience in advanced-material applications and green-industry development, Ye explained that Yingcai New Material continues to focus on how material technology can create lasting value for solar power plants. Its core development areas include PV nano self-cleaning and efficiency-enhancing coatings, intelligent cleaning and maintenance, and green-material applications, with the goal of delivering solutions that are practical, sustainable and scalable.

Tencent News also introduced Yingcai’s PV nano self-cleaning and efficiency-enhancing coatings. Designed for the strong winds, frequent dust accumulation, water scarcity and difficult manual maintenance common in desert regions, the coatings use nanotechnology to provide enhanced light transmission and reduced reflection, self-cleaning and anti-fouling performance, antistatic dust resistance, and long-term weather and abrasion resistance. The aim is to improve power output while reducing cleaning frequency and overall O&M pressure.

Beyond individual coating technologies, Yingcai New Material is expanding toward an integrated system combining materials, cleaning, inspection and unmanned O&M. The company is exploring more efficient, intelligent and low-carbon maintenance models for solar power plants. According to the report, as the construction of large desert renewable energy bases continues, Yingcai is responding to industry challenges through technology innovation and supporting major projects with application-specific solutions.
