Phoenix News Shenzhen reports on Yingcai New Material’s photovoltaic nano self-cleaning coating and its value in improving power generation efficiency and reducing solar plant O&M costs.
Phoenix News recently published a report titled “Yingcai New Material’s PV Nano Self-Cleaning Coating: Independent Technology Innovation Helps Reduce Costs and Improve Efficiency in Solar Power.” The report noted that, driven by carbon-peaking and carbon-neutrality goals, the global energy mix is undergoing profound change. As a key pillar of clean energy, the photovoltaic industry is moving from rapid capacity expansion toward refined operation and higher power-generation efficiency.

As installed solar capacity continues to grow, technologies that improve power output, reduce operation and maintenance costs, and extend module service life have become a major industry focus. Phoenix News highlighted Dongguan Yingcai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. and its independently developed photovoltaic nano self-cleaning coating as a new solution for the efficient operation of solar power stations.

According to the report, the technology forms a functional nanoscale coating on the surface of photovoltaic modules. The coating helps reduce the adhesion of dust, dirt and other contaminants, maintaining a cleaner module surface. This can lower cleaning frequency, ease O&M pressure and help improve light transmittance and power-generation efficiency.

Phoenix News concluded that, as the renewable energy industry advances toward higher-quality development, technology-driven companies such as Yingcai New Material are using independent innovation to help the photovoltaic sector reduce costs and improve efficiency while creating new possibilities for renewable-energy applications.
